Gemma Elaine is a respected Australian makeup artist working in the areas of photographic and short film media in addition to live events and fashion shows.



Following the completion of her Visual Arts degree at the Queensland University of Technology in 2001, Gemma pursued a career as a makeup artist and rapidly established herself as one of Brisbane’s most sought after creatives. 



With over fifteen years of industry experience, Gemma has a clean and contemporary approach to makeup along with a keen eye for detail. She is highly skilled in makeup application together with up to date hairstyling techniques.

Whilst Gemma’s ability to create fresh beauty looks with ease keeps her in demand as a working artist in the advertising industry, her wide skill set and creative background have contributed to her ability to interpret, design and implement creative and elaborate works for editorial publications and avant-garde works alike.

Gemma has worked on a wide range of fashion campaigns, commercial advertising and editorial projects, corporate grooming, runway shows, live events, music videos and television commercials in addition to celebrity and media personality work for a wide range clients.

Gemma Elaine calls Brisbane home and is available for bookings in Brisbane and further afield where the current climate allows.
